A full-toss delivery, Trivedi hits it towards the mid-wicket where Farhan Yousaf takes a good catch. The umpire checks it for a no-ball but declares it a full-toss.

Oh No! Blunder from Mohammad Sayyam denies Pakistan another wicket. Abhigyan Kundan gets caught on Sayyam's delivery as the whole Pakistan team celebrates. However, the third umpire then reveals that Sayyam had overstepped and declares it a no-ball. The disappointment wraps up the ground.

India, who were dealing with setback of losing their top-order in quick successions, are now creating some trouble for Pakistan bowlers. The duo of Vedant and Vihaan now eye some boundaries in the upcoming overs.

After losing three wickets in quick successions, India are struggling for runs. Vihaan Malhotra and Vedant Trivedi have joined hands at the crease and looking to form a solid partnership. OUT!!! Another wicket gone for India as Abdul Subhan dismissed Aaron George for 16. George brings his inside to the good length delivery. The ball then rattles the off stump, giving Pakistan their third wicket of the day.

OUT!!! India lose another wicket in the same over of Mohammad Sayyam and this time, skipper Ayush Mhatre becomes the prey and departs for duck. The dismissal similar to Vaibhav Suryavanshi's. The ball hits the outside edge of Mhatre's bat and wicketkeeper Hamza Zahoor grabs an easy catch. The on-field umpire checks for the no-ball but later declares Mhatre out.

WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE? As we were speaking about Pakistan's fielding blunder, Mohammad Sayyam makes it up for the team as he removes Vaibhav Suryavanshi on the very next ball. Suryavanshi tries to go for a pull shot but his edge touches the ball and travels straight to the wicketkeeper Hamza Zahoor. First wicket gone for India.

OH NO! What have you done, Huzaifa Ahsan? Vaibhav Suryavanshi hits it up in the air on Mohammad Sayyam's delivery. Huzaifa tries to come under it and grab a catch but fails to complete it. Meanwhile, he throws it towards the wicketkeeper in hope of run out. However, the wicketkeeper fails to remove the bails as Suryavanshi makes it back on time.

Just like every other game, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has once again adapted the ruthless approach and playing a fiery knock for India. In the previous over of Al Raza, he hammered a boundary, followed by a huge maximum. In total, Raza conceded 11 runs.

Pakistan finally take some sigh of relief as Ali Raza bowls an economical over and controls the flow of runs. The opening duo of Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Aaron George, who are looking unstoppable today, showed cautiousness in the previous over and scored just two runs. Pakistan now need a wicket at the earliest.

FOUR!!! Vaibhav Suryavanshi gets another boundary from Mohammad Sayyam. A full toss delivery, Suryavanshi drives straight down the ground. Not right off the middle of the bat, so mid-off and mid-on chase, but the ball races across the fence.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made his intentions clear right from the very beginning. He is fearlessly dealing in boundaries and forming a good partnership with Aaron George. In the previous over of Ali Raza, Suryavanshi hit two brilliant boundaries as Raza conceded 11 runs.

The U19 World Cup 2026, Super Six match between India and Pakistan finally begins. For India, Aaron George and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have started the proceedings. The duo is looking for a solid opening partnership, in order to maintain an upper hand in the game. On the other hand, Ali Raza will be bowling the first over for Pakistan. 

Players of both the teams are now out on the field for their respective national anthems. The mouth-watering clash between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan shall begin shortly. Stay tuned with us.

"The weather conditions, really good. A high of 28, a low of 17, and very little chance of rain. We are on pitch number six for this game. The curators had to work hard to keep this fresh. A bit of context now is that 213 by England defended, 261 chased down by Sri Lanka, then India hit 350. So there's runs to be had here. I'd say make use of the new ball because it will come on nicely and it gets a little bit slower. And then at the back end, really go after the bowling, but wickets in hand are crucial. The surface visually looks a good one. but what's underneath there is another question. I think it's a little bit dry," reckon Rohan Gavaskar and Ed Rainsford. 

Just like the previous few games, India and Pakistan captains refused to shake hands with each other. Ayush Mhatre and Farhan Yousaf were seen avoiding any kind of interaction with each other at the toss.

"We would've batted first. Boys are doing well. We are confident. Sunny day, first three games there was rain. Last two games there was good weather. Udhav Mohan out, Deepesh comes in," said India skipper Ayush Mhatre. 

"Slight moisture, our bowling department will do well. It's a new ground, we've prepared well. Not much difference in the two venues. Bowlers and fielders have done well. I believe in my unit. First focus is to play a good game, not worry about margins. One change: Ali Hassan in, Shayan out," said Pakistan skipper Farhan Yousaf. 

Pakistan skipper Farhan Yousaf wins the toss, opts to bowl against India in the U19 World Cup 2026, Super Six match on Sunday in Bulawayo. 

“The Asia Cup final loss might linger a bit in the minds of Indian players, but this Indian side has shown strong form, winning all their World Cup matches so far. That puts the pressure more on Pakistan. Of course, expecting a dominant win by 200–250 runs is unrealistic — such results happen once in a hundred games. I believe it won’t be easy for Pakistan this time," said Yuzvendra Chahal. 

In the bowling department, right-arm pacer Ali Raza has been Pakistan's key man with 12 wickets from four matches, and Indian batters will have to plan to tackle him. Another right-arm pacer Abdul Subhan has also been among the wickets with 10 from four matches.

Opener Sameer Minhas, who orchestrated India's defeat in the U-19 Asia Cup final with a magnificent 172, has been in impressive form in the tournament, scoring 74 not out against Zimbabwe in their group match and 76 in the win against New Zealand in Super Sixes. Minhas will again be the thorn in the flesh for India who will plot to remove him early in the innings and curb his run-scoring.

Pakistan, on the other hand, lost their opening group game against England but won their next two matches against Scotland and Zimbabwe. They notched a comprehensive eight-wicket win over New Zealand in their Super Six match on January 27, and are coming into the India game with confidence.

On the bowling front, right-arm medium pacer Henil Patel (10 wickets in four matches) and left-arm fast bowler Udhav Mohan, who picked up three wickets in the last match against Zimbabwe, have been the standout performers for India. Skipper Ayush Mhatre too sparkled with his off-breaks, getting three scalps against Zimbabwe, while right-arm medium RS Amrish has also been among wickets upfront.

Wicket-keeper Abhigyan Kundu (183 runs from four matches, 80 highest score) and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (166 runs from four matches) have been consistent with the bat, scoring two fifties each, but they would look to convert those into three-figure marks.

In what was an invaluable experience, the next generation got insights and perspectives on the important ingredients for success and longevity in an ever evolving sport, not just limited to technical skills and remaining fit but also the importance of staying focused, disciplined, humble and rooted in success," the BCCI posted on X.

The India under-19 men’s side virtually interacted with legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar ahead of their decisive Super Six clash against Pakistan in the ongoing U-19 World Cup. Prior to any game, a virtual pep talk from Sachin is a stuff of dreams and the Indian boys did get some priceless advice from the legend.

It has been a dominant run for India so far in the Under-19 World Cup. The Indians started their campaign with a comprehensive six-wicket win over USA, before beating Bangladesh and New Zealand in the group stage. In their first Super Six match, India thrashed hosts Zimbabwe by a massive 204 runs on January 27 to continue their unbeaten run.

India are also likely to continue with their 'no handshake' policy with Pakistan in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack and the ensuing Operation Sindoor carried out by the country's armed forces. The Indian Under-19 team avoided the post-match handshake with Pakistan in the final of the U-19 Asia Cup. The Indians had skipped the gesture during the two sides' group stage match of that tournament as well.

A simple win over India is not enough for Pakistan to qualify. They must defeat India by at least 85 runs. If Pakistan are chasing, they must reach the target before 31.5 overs (or 33.2 overs if the target is 250).

If India beat Pakistan, they will qualify for the semi-finals and finish on top of the group as well. This would mean they will face Afghanistan in the last-four clash. However, all will not be lost even if India lose to Pakistan. Even with a small margin of defeat, India will finish above Pakistan in the final points table. On the other hand, Pakistan need to win by a very big margin to advance.

So far, Australia, Afghanistan, and England have entered the semi-finals. The result of the India vs Pakistan Super Six match will decide the fourth and final semi-finalist of the 2026 U-19 World Cup. As per the current standings in the U-19 World Cup Super Six points table, India are second in Group 2 behind England (8 points, NRR +1.757). India have 6 points (NRR +3.337), while Pakistan have 4 points (NRR +1.484).

India lost to Pakistan by 191 runs in the Under-19 Asia Cup final in Dubai last December after winning the group match of the same tournament against the arch-rivals by 90 runs.
