A confident India defeated Korea 2-0 their second game in the Asia Cup Hockey. After their 8-0 win over Oman, India used their momentum to good effect as they won two out of two. Catch all the highlights here:
19:03 (IST): But India's hero today is goalkeeper Sreejesh. The veteran goalie who participated in the London Olympics had an outstanding day bring off several top class saves. He is the Man of the Match. The Koreans failed to capitalise on territorial advantage. India played smart hockey and utilised the limited opportunities that came their way. This win will boost India's young team. India on top of pool with six points from two matches.
19:00 (IST): India beat Korea 2-0 with goals from Raghunath (6th minute) and Mandeep Singh (65th). India all set to top pool B. India beat Oman 8-0 in their first match.
18:56 (IST): India make it 2-0 in the 65th minute. Mandeep scores from a Dharamveer Singh pass with a crisp hit from top of the striking circle. He is one of the brightest stars in Indian hockey.
18:52 (IST): Eight minutes left on the clock and the Indians are showing some energy in attack.
18:51 (IST): 11 minutes to go and Sreejesh foils another Korean move after Rupinder Pal is beaten by a pacy move from the right. Sreejesh is playing like the Chinese Wall. And from a rare Indian counterattack, Malak Singh misses a sitter with a wide flick.
18:45 (IST): Indians are missing at least five frontline players in this tournament. The inexperience in the attacking line is showing. Fourteen minutes to go. India still lead 1-0.
18:41 (IST): 19 minutes to go and India survive another scare. Sreejesh once again to the rescue. The Koreans miss the easiest chance of the second session with a clear goal in front.
18:37 (IST): It's 14th minute in second half and India respond with a rare counterattack from the left flank. But the second goal eludes them due to poor finishing.
18:33 (IST): Twenty-five minutes to go and the Indians losing ball possession very easily. Koreans trying hard to get the equaliser. Sardar is back on the pitch.
18:32 (IST): Indians down to 10 men due to a yellow card but Sreejesh keeps foiling Korean attacks. But how long can the Indians sustain this pressure? It's ninth minute in second half.
18:28 (IST): Sreejesh denied the Koreans with a brilliant sliding save in the 38th minute. The Koreans are really attacking hard.
18:25 (IST): Three minutes into second half...India trying to keep possession. The defenders have moved up to help the attackers. Koreans very quick on counterattacks.
18:23 (IST): Second half all set to start. The Sultan Azlan Shah Stadium is not even half full. Indians have defended well in the first half. Rupinder Pal, Gurmail and goalie Sreejesh have been rock solid. India must get a second goal as the Koreans have looked dangerous in attack.
18:13 (IST): First half ends and India keep their 1-0 lead, thanks to Raghunath's sixth-minute goal from a penalty corner. The Koreans wasted five penalty corners. The Indians have been successful in defence but have to show more creativity upfront.
18:11 (IST): Koreans grab a hattrick of penalty corners but Rupinder Pal stands like a rock. Koreans keep attacking in numbers but India protect their 1-0 lead. One minute to go.
18:09 (IST): Koreans waste their third penalty corner in the 32nd minute. Poor trapping but the Indian concede a fourth Penalty Corner due to a foul.
18:07 (IST): Korean goalkeeper makes two grand saves. Mandeep was in a great position to make it 2-0. About five minutes to go.
18:05 (IST): Koreans have a slight advantage as far as possession is concerned. Sardar has been taken off. He has been on antibiotics for fever. Rupinder Pal Singh is initiating the attacks but Indians losing their ideas in the scoring area. There is unnecessary hurry upfront. Six minutes to go. India must keep the lead going into halftime.
18:01 (IST): Koreans waste their second penalty corner in the 24th minute. Indians adopt same crowding out strategy. Great save by goalkeeper Sreejesh and Gurmail flicks it out of harms way. Good job by the defence again. Koreans going all out to equalise and Indian have to capitalise on their counterattacks.
17:58 (IST): Korea waste their first penalty corner in the 20th minute. Gurmail Singh rising to the occasion by charging out early. Indians crowd out the Koreans. Good defending. Big relief as the Indians are under pressure.

For India it was a goalfest against Oman as they hammered 8 into the back of the net. Mandeep Singh (4th minute, 40th) and debutant forward Ramandeep Singh (17th, 44th) struck twice, while, V R Raghunath (28th), Rupinderpal Singh (34th), Malak Singh (47th) and SK Uthappa (69th) got one each in a game that did not live upto a being a contest.
