The Professional Golfers' Association of India (PGAI) has announced a new board on Thursday.

New Delhi: The Professional Golfers' Association of India (PGAI) has announced a new board on Thursday.It comes after some of the country's top pros announced their own tour.The new six-member board consists top Indian money winners Mukesh Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Feroz Ali and Gast Ram.One of the other major decisions taken was to reinstate Tiger Sports Marketing (TSM) as the marketing arm for the next three years. The season that will be played from January to December will have a total prize money of Rs 3 crore in comparison to Rs 3.3 crore promised by the new players' association.TSM meanwhile, also promised an increase of 15 per cent from last year. The minimum prize purse on the Indian PGA Tour was also agreed at Rs 15 lakh per tournament.
