The US star pairing of Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley were second out in Saturday's Ryder Cup foursomes, up against two former world No.1s Lee Westwood and Luke Donald.
The veteran Mickelson and the rookie Bradley hit it off together in fine style on Friday, winning in both foursomes and fourballs to ignite the US charge that resulted in a 5-3 overnight lead.
Westwood and Donald last played together two years ago at Celtic Manor, Wales when they crushed Steve Stricker and Tiger Woods 6 and 5 in fourballs action.
