Justin Leonard successfully defended his Texas Open title, capturing the $3 million event by firing a five-under-par 66.

Justin Leonard successfully defended his Texas Open title, capturing the $3 million event by firing a five-under-par 66. Leonard finished with an 18-under-266 total yesterday to win by two shots from J J Henry and Matt Kuchar and become the first golfer since Arnold Palmer to repeat as Texas Open champion. Leonard earned $540,000 for his first win this year.
