Formula One: Kimi Raikkonen fined for speeding in pit lane during first Indian GP practice

Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen has been fined 400 euros for speeding in the pit lane during the first practice session of the Indian Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) here on Friday. (Racecentre)
Raikkonen exceeded the pit lane speed limit by 3.4 km/h, the limit being 80 km/h, breaching Article 30.12 of the FIA F1 sporting regulations.
"The competitor (Lotus F1 team) is fined 400 euros," said an FIA statement.
Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel began his quest to seal a fourth successive Formula One title by scorching a new lap record in first free practice.
Vettel's Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber, who leaves F1 at the end of the season, was only narrowly slower as he came in second at 1:26.87.
Nico Rosberg of Mercedes was third at 1:26.89, followed by Romain Grosjean and Lewis Hamilton -- all under the previous lap record.
