Nico Rosberg was faster than Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton in the final practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix on Saturday.
Rosberg had a lap of 1 minute, 10.446 seconds at Interlagos, 0.114 seconds ahead of Hamilton. Brazilian driver Felipe Massa was third, nearly half a second behind Rosberg, and his Williams teammate Valtteri Bottas finished fourth.
Rosberg also led Hamilton in both practice sessions on Friday, when drivers struggled to get used to the newly resurfaced Interlagos track.
Rosberg needs to win in Brazil on Sunday to have a real shot at his first title. He trails Hamilton by 24 points with 75 still available. The championship can't be decided at Interlagos because the race in Abu Dhabi will be worth double points.
