Women Supporters Bare it All to Support Venezuela in Copa America

Frenzied support for national football teams is not something new for fans in South America. Baring it as a team may well be. A group of Venezuelan TV news reporters though hardly mind going through uncharted territories and recently stripped down to their nothings to support their heroes in the upcoming Copa America championship. In a video uploaded on Youtube, the women - reportedly working with a show called Desnudando la Noticia which means 'stripping the news' -- are seen with a message proclaiming their unwavering support to the national football team. (Related read: It's working! Venezuela stun Colombia)
Their decision to bare it all though is not just about displaying how passionate they are about football but is also targeted at removing the taboo associated with nudity.
Not surprisingly then, the video notched up half a million views in quick time and has been doing the rounds of social media circles in the entire continent. There, however, is even more to come. The women have apparently also promised to upload more content on similar lines as and when their team progresses in the tournament.
