Trezeguet signs for UAE side Bani Yas

Former France international striker David Trezeguet on Tuesday signed with Bani Yas, the United Arab Emirates side announced.

Former France international striker David Trezeguet on Tuesday signed with Bani Yas, the United Arab Emirates side announced.

The 33-year-old put pen to paper on a contract with a reported annual salary of 1.7 million euros after passing the traditional medical in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

A World Cup winner with France in 1998, Trezeguet was out of contract with Spanish side Hercules, demoted to the second division.
