Soccer team from Senegal disappears in France

An entire soccer team from Senegal is reportedly on the run from French immigration officers after arriving in Le Havre city, near Paris, for a friendly tournament.

According to the Daily Mail, the tournament was organised to spread the message of peace, international harmony and foster harmony but the Senegalese team has not been heard from according to a local police official who said that the flight back to Senegal was scheduled for Sunday.

The same police official said that three players had disappeared when Senegal took on Portugal while the other nine soon left without a trace as well. He however said that it is a common occurrence with teams from Africa coming to the country and playing in France.

The players are expected to either claim asylum or disappear in the black economy.
