Sao Paulo hosted Fluminense at the Morumbi Stadium in the Brazilian Championship on Wednesday night.

Sao Paulo moved into the upper reaches of the Brazilian Championship standings after they beat Fluminense 1-0 at the Morumbi Stadium on Wednesday night. Grafite's 35th minute goal lifts Sao Paulo into third place in the table, three points behind surprise early leaders Figueirense. Fluminense are still seeking their first victory of the season after three games of the new campaign. (AP)
