Germany under-21 striker Nils Petersen, the top scorer in the German second division this season, is poised to sign for Bayern Munich, the Suddeutsche Zeitung reported on Friday.

Germany under-21 striker Nils Petersen, the top scorer in the German second division this season, is poised to sign for Bayern Munich, the Suddeutsche Zeitung reported on Friday.
According to the Munich daily, quoting a source close to the Bavarian club, Petersen will sign a three-year contract worth up to 2.8 million euros ($4m).
Petersen, 22, has scored 24 goals this season for Energie Cottbus, his club since 2008.
