Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Friday declared his intention to stay at his current club, dismissing any notion he could join AC Milan this summer.
The 33-year-old Swede has come out to quash speculation, blasting reporters for fabricating stories. He also claimed he was simply focused on winning more silverware with the French football champions.
"I belong to PSG with a year left on my contract. It's all media speculations. I don't think any reporters even called Milan CEO Adriano Galliani to ask him if we talked. I have no idea where the stories come from. I guess people need something to write about," Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying by goal.com.
"I really don't think I will leave. We won everything in France this season. I'd rather play for a club I like and enjoy myself. And I am currently playing for a club in the Champions League, and I enjoy it. I am a PSG player," the former Barcelona star added.
