Having dropped points on home turf in their last two matches, Mohun Bagan will bank on the return of their key players when they face a resurgent Air India in 12th-round I-League fixture at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan, here on Wednesday.
With a hat-trick of wins (against Sporting Clube de Goa, Dempo and Pailan Arrows), Air India (19 points) find their campaign back on track to climb to fifth position, just behind Mohun Bagan (21) who have been winless at home in two matches.
In such a scenario, Mohun Bagan will be keen to log full points in the penultimate round match of the first leg. Mohun Bagan will be boosted by the return of the Brazilian duo of Jose Barreto and Hudson Lima who have recovered from their injuries.
The duo's return will add sting to Mohun Bagan's attack which is shouldered by Nigerian stalwart Odafa Okolie. Okolie was seen struggling in the previous matches in the absence of good support.
"It's great to have Hudson back in the side. The ball supply will definitely improve. We are committed to bring in full points," Barreto said.
"But we must be watchful. Air India have been doing well. They rely on counterattacks. We must not concede early goals," he said.
