Spanish coach Manolo Preciado has died of a heart attack in Valencia, a day before he was to be unveiled as the new Villareal manager.

Spanish coach Manolo Preciado has died of a heart attack in Valencia, a day before he was to be unveiled as the new Villareal manager.
The 54-year-old, who had quit relegated Sporting Gijon this summer, had agreed to take over as the manager of the La Liga team on Wednesday.
He had been manager at Gijon for almost six years until his dismissal in January this year and had earlier coached Racing Santander, Levante and Murcia.
