Premier League outfit Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign the Scotland international midfielder Charlie Adam from Blackpool.

Premier League outfit Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign the Scotland international midfielder Charlie Adam from Blackpool.

The club confirmed the news on their official website on Wednesday, saying that the 25-year-old would now travel to Merseyside to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.

The Reds had previously had two bids rejected in the January transfer window for Adam, who was shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Year award last season.
