London: Arsenal's lead at the top of the English premier league lasted just 24 hours on account of their draw against Blackburn. Manchester United's leaky defence came under focus again while Tottenham continues to flourish. Bolton beat Man UtdJuan Sebastian Veron scored the first goal for Manchester United in the 25th minute when his free kick beat the Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper.But Manchester United could not hold on to their lead for long. Ten minutes later Bolton drew level. Michael Ricketts' cushioned header outside the United area fell to Kevin Nolan who smashed a volley beyond a startled Fabien Barthez.United were in for a surprise when Wes Brown lost possession of a long ball to Ricketts. The former Walsall striker took full advantage and raced on towards the United goal before beating Barthez to score the winner six minutes from the final whistle. This is the first time in nine years that Manchester United has lost at Old Trafford after being in the lead.Arsenal draw against BlackburnIn another game, Arsenal played host to Blackburn at Highbury in north London. Blackburn went ahead in the 41st minute through Keith Gillespie who returned from a five-match absence due to a knee injury.Arsenal drew level in the second half when Robert Pires put one across for the Gunners in the 48th minute. Five minutes later, the Frenchman was again in action as he helped Dennis Bergkamp shoot a blistering volley.Blackburn equalised five minutes later through David Dunn's long range shot which beat Richard Wright under the post.In the 80th minute Frenchman Thierry Henry scored his 12th goal of the season and the Gunners appeared to have secured their three points.But two minutes before the final whistle, Dunn provided the appropriate climax to a pulsating game. He scored his goal to ensure the match finished in a 3-3 draw.Leeds United 0-0 ChelseaChelsea travelled to Leeds United. Chelsea could have taken the lead four minutes before half time. Gudjohnsen set off dangerously but ended with a tame shot straight at the goalkeeper.In the second half Chelsea were again on the offensive. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink came close to breaking the deadlock in the 64th minute but his shot was saved by Nigel Martyn.Chelsea had another chance but failed to score yet again. The match ended in a goalless draw.Tottenham Spurs edge past NewcastleNewcastle were never really able to come to grips with the good passing and movement of Tottenham Hotspurs. Spurs went ahead, after Gary Speed scored an own off a rebound to give Spurs the lead.Tottenham got their second goal in the 20th minute through Gustavo Poyet. Spurs held Newcastle at bay to win 2-0. Fulham drew 1-1 with Ipswich. Derby were also held to a 1-1 draw. Everton beat Aston Villa 3-2 while Liverpool hammered Leicester 4-1 spurred on by Robbie Fowler's hattrick.
