Brazilian striker Rodrigo Gral scored a pair of goals as Jubilo Iwata defeated Thailand's BEC Tero Sasana 3-0 in an Asian Champions League Group E soccer match. Gral opened the scoring in the final minute of the first half at Yamaha Stadium and then doubled the lead three minutes after the break to give the 2002 J-League champions a 2-0 lead. Midfielder Toshihiro Hattori was successful from the penalty spot in the 81st minute to complete the scoring as Iwata moved to the top of the Group E table with two wins from their opening two fixtures.
