Jankulovski leaves AC Milan for Czech team

Czech defender Marek Jankulovski is returning to Czech top-flight side Banik Ostrava after leaving reigning Italian champions AC Milan in the summer, Banik said on its website on Monday.

Czech defender Marek Jankulovski is returning to Czech top-flight side Banik Ostrava after leaving reigning Italian champions AC Milan in the summer, Banik said on its website on Monday.

The 34-year-old, who left Banik eleven years ago to play for Napoli, Udinese and AC Milan, has recently recovered from the knee surgery he underwent in April.

Jankulovski, who won the Champions League with AC Milan in 2007, scored eleven goals in 78 games for the Czech national team before ending his international career in 2009.
