Leonardo moved a significant step closer to joining Paris Saint Germain on Friday after reaching an amicable agreement with Inter Milan to leave the Seria A club.

Leonardo moved a significant step closer to joining Paris Saint Germain on Friday after reaching an amicable agreement with Inter Milan to leave the Seria A club.

The Brazilian is due to join PSG as the French capital side's new sporting director.

Last week despite Leonardo still being on their payroll Inter appointed former Genoa boss Gian Piero Gasperini to succeed the 41-year-old as their coach.
