New Delhi :

English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers could soon be in Indian hands. Pune based Venkys Conglomerate have been in detailed discussions with the Lancashire based club and both parties are hoping to complete the sale of the club by the end of next month.

Venkys are likely to pay around 40 million pounds or 320 crore for Blackburn Rovers. If the deal goes through, the company would be the first Indian firm to own a Premier League club.

Blackburn are currently outside the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference and have won just once since the opening day of the season.
