New Delhi:

The India men's football team remained static at 147th place in the latest FIFA rankings issued on Wednesday.

In Asia too, Bob Houghton's team remained stuck at 23rd place due to lack of international matches since January.

FIFA had recently delisted the senior women's team from the rankings following more than 18 months' inactivity.

The men's team is currently training in Dubai and will travel to Barcelona on July 7 to prepare for the ONGC Nehru Cup in August.

Meanwhile, victory in the Confederations Cup has propelled Brazil four places up the table to the top spot, dislodging Spain, who slipped to second following their semi-final defeat to USA in South Africa.
