Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan will be out for two weeks after aggravating a back injury in Germany's 3-3 friendly draw with Paraguay, last season's Champions League finalists have confirmed.
Gundogan, 22, scored Germany's opening goal in the first half before coming off with the injury and will miss Dortmund's home Bundesliga match against Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday as a result.
He is also expected to miss Dortmund's trip to Werder Bremen on Friday August 23, but should be fit for the home match against Eintracht Frankfurt on September 1.
