Uruguay forward Diego Forlan is set to make his Inter Milan comeback away to Genoa on Tuesday following a lengthy absence with a hamstring injury.
Forlan was injured on international duty in October and has not played for the Italian giants since.
But he has been included in the squad for the trip to Genoa, which if won by Inter would see them move into sixth or seventh in the Serie A table.
Forlan was bought in the summer as a replcement for Cameroon forward Samuel Eto'o, who departed for Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia in a mega-money move.
He has been sorely missed as Inter have struggled for form and spent much of the start of the season hovering above the relegation places.
Three wins in their last four games, though, have seen them move into the top half and they are now looking to continue that form before Christmas in a hope to reignite their faint title hopes.
