FIFA World Cup: Greece Name Provisional Squad Minus Injured Dimitris Siovas
Levante defender Nikos Karabelas and 22-year-old Panathinaikos striker Nikos Karelis were both included for the first time in the Greek 2014 FIFA World Cup squad.

Greece coach Fernando Santos on Wednesday announced his provisional 30-man squad for the World Cup in Brazil, minus injured Olympiakos defender Dimitris Siovas.
However, 29-year-old Levante defender Nikos Karabelas and 22-year-old Panathinaikos striker Nikos Karelis were both included for the first time.
Portuguese coach Santos has said that he will announce his final 23-man squad on May 19 and from the 30 he is expected to cut one goalkeeper, two or three defenders, one or two midfielders and one or two forwards.
