FC Barcelona's Neymar to Miss Two Supercup Finals
Neymar is suffering from mumps, a disease normally associated with children, and will need a fortnight to recover from the illness.

FC Barcelona's Brazilian striker Neymar will miss Tuesday's European Supercup final against Sevilla and also the Spanish Supercup final against Athletic Club Bilbao as a result of mumps.

"The first team medical staff at FC Barcelona has announced on Sunday that Neymar will be out for two weeks after being diagnosed with parotitis (mumps), despite the fact that he had previously been vaccinated against the disease.
Therefore, the Brazilian striker will miss the European Super Cup final on Tuesday in Tbilisi, Georgia against Sevilla and also the Spanish Super Cup final which sees Luis Enrique's team take on Athletic Club over two legs on August 14 and 17," a statement from the club said on Sunday. The news comes days after he made his first appearance of the pre-season in the Joan Gamper Trophy, which saw him team up with star striker Lionel Messi.
Neymar and Messi scored once to help Barcelona lift the Joan Gamper Trophy with 3-0 win against Italian side AS Roma.
Neymar should be fit to start the new La Liga campaign. Barcelona face Athletic Bilbao in its first match of the new La Liga season.
