Having already been booked in the opening win over Portugal, the Bayern Munich star picked up his second yellow of the tournament for taking too long with a throw-in in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Holland in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
The 23-year-old is suspended for the Danish game where Germany need just a point to be sure of qualifying for the quarter-finals as Group B winners.
"There is not much I can do about the yellow card and the suspension," said Boateng.
"It was a tough game against the Dutch, we stood up well to them in certain situations, but it was hard work and very tiring."
Germany are eager to finish top of Group B, which means a quarter-final in Gdansk, the home of their base in Poland, against the team which finishes second in Group A.
