Espanyol signs Bolton winger Martin Petrov, says report

Petrov, who turns 34 on Tuesday, has passed the medical checks and signed a deal with the Spanish team until the end of next season, the sports news website said without providing details.

Bolton winger and former Bulgarian international Martin Petrov has signed a contract with Spanish league side Espanyol, Bulgaria's Sportal website reported on Monday.

Petrov, who turns 34 on Tuesday, has passed the medical checks and signed a deal with the Spanish team until the end of next season, the sports news website said without providing details.

Espanyol manager Javier Aguirre already coached Petrov at Atletico Madrid in 2006-2007.
