Berlin:

Jurgen Klopp, coach of Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund, said on Thursday he is still wary of title-rivals Bayer Leverkusen who are only seven points behind with six games left to play.

Dortmund stayed on course for their first German league title since 2002 when they came from behind to beat Hanover 4-1 at home last Saturday and are at mid-table Hamburg this weekend.

Leverkusen are undefeated in their last seven league games and host relegation-threatened St Pauli on Sunday.

But Bayer travel to face third-placed Bayern Munich away in a fortnight in a key battle for second place which guarantees a Champions League place for next season.

"Bayer can win their last six games and I even see them beating Bayern Munich next weekend, because, judging by the current state of things, they are better than Bayern," Dortmund's Klopp told German magazine Kicker.

"We have to pocket a lot more points if you want to stay at the top."

Despite his side's impressive win over Hanover, when they scored four goals in less than 25 second-half minutes, Klopp refuses to take anything for granted until the final weekend of the season on May 14.

"For me nothing has changed (after the Hanover win), I am only interested in what happens at the end," said the 43-year-old Klopp.

Klopp's prudence is fuelled by his opinion that "Leverkusen are 98.6 percent likely to beat St. Pauli while our chances of beating Hamburg are not nearly so strong."

Hamburg have won just four of their last ten league games.
