Oporto, Portugal:
A resilient Deportivo La Coruna survived a late red card dismissal of Jorge Andrade to hold out for a goalless draw against Porto in their Champions League semi-final first leg. Deportivo will come away from the game pleased that they managed to hold the Portuguese league leaders but disappointed that they will have two key players missing for the return leg in Spain on May 4. Deportivo team captzain Mauro Silva will be watching the match sitting alongside those fans, along with team-mate Jorge Andrade. Mauro Silva, a veteran of Brazil's 1994 World Cup victory, picked up a yellow card in the first half, which means that he will serve a one match ban for accumulated bookings.Topics mentioned in this article
