Milan:
Catania president Antonino Pulvirenti has said he is considering selling star forward Maxi Lopez to Serie A champions AC Milan in the January transfer window.
Milan are in the hunt for a new striker with Antonio Cassano sidelined for at least six months after undergoing heart surgery last week.
Pulvirenti said in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss that "a move to AC Milan is viable. Obviously we need to sort out all the details, but there's a will to do it. We are absolutely open to it."
Lopez has scored 20 goals in 55 appearances for Catania after joining from Russian side FC Moscow in January 2010.
The 27-year-old Lopez grew up in Argentina but is also eligible to play for Italy.
