England defender Ashley Cole has reportedly apologised 'unreserevedly' after he criticised the Football Association in the John Terry-ruling.
FA had questioned Cole's evidence after Terry was found guilty by the FA.
An angry Cole had rubuked the association in his Twitter remarks where he wrote: "Hahahahaa, well done #fa I lied did I, #BUNCHOFT***S".
However, the Chelsea player later removed the tweet from his official account and also issued an apology.
"I had just finished training and saw the captions on the TV screens in the treatment rooms about what was said in the FA commission ruling about me," Cole wrote.
"I was really upset and tweeted my feelings in the heat of the moment. I apologise unreservedly for my comment about the FA." Â
Cole is due to resume his England training for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers from Monday.
FA had raised questions about Cole's testimony as he had supported Terry and vouched that he hadn't spoken anything racial.
Terry has been banned for four games apart from a fine of £220,000.
