London:
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Lukas Podolski will be out injured for up to 10 weeks, three times longer than first believed.
After the Germany forward injured his left hamstring during Tuesday's Champions League victory over Fenerbahce, Wenger said he would only be out for three weeks.
Now Wenger says "it is bad news about Lukas Podolski as he will be out for eight to 10 weeks. His hamstring is much more damaged than we thought at the start."
Podolski will also miss Germany's World Cup qualifiers in September and October.
But Wenger says there is positive news about Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere, who are fit for Sunday's derby against Tottenham despite injury fears.
