London:
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says defender Mathieu Debuchy will be out for about three months with an ankle injury.
The France right back injured his left ankle this month in a Premier League match against Manchester City.
Wenger says Debuchy's surgery "went well," and adds that offseason signing Calum Chambers should fill the void in defense.
Wenger says "it is a blow of course, how big it will be we will only know afterwards because it will be down to how well we replace him. We bought Chambers for that."
