Sousse:
10-man Algeria scored a late winner to pull off a shock two-one win over Egypt in Group C of the African Cup of Nations on Thursday.
A mazy run from deep in his own half by substitute Hocine Achiou gave Algeria victory in a game dominated by Egypt.
Algeria had taken a surprise first half lead through Mamar Mamouni, who was later sent off, before Ahmed Belal levelled for Egypt but Achiou's goal gave Algeria the three points which sees them move alongside defending champions Cameroon at the top of Group C. (AP)
