Online gambling firm 888poker is "reviewing" its commercial relationship with Luis Suarez following allegations of biting, the company said on Wednesday.
The Liverpool striker shocked the global football community when he sank his teeth into Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's 1-0 World Cup Group D victory over the Azzurri on Tuesday. (Tough childhood to blame, says sports psychologist)
"Following recent allegations made against Luis Suarez, we are reviewing our relationship with him. We will not tolerate unsporting behaviour," 888poker said in a Twitter message. (More outrage on Twitter)
Suarez, banned twice before for biting opposition players, could be expelled from Brazil 2014 if found guilty.
Suarez and Uruguayan officials have until 2000 GMT Wednesday to submit evidence to a disciplinary panel set up by football's global governing body FIFA.
