00:25 hrs IST: Hello and welcome to the live blog of Euro 2016 Group C match between Germany and Poland.
Lewandowski scored 42 goals as Bayern romped to a fourth straight Bundesliga title this season. The former Borussia Dortmund forward also top scored in Euro 2016 qualifying with 13 goals.
Poland beat Germany 2-0 in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, their first ever competitive victory over Europe's most successful football nation. Germany enjoyed revenge in the return fixture but that Warsaw win has given Poland renewed belief.
At the Stade de France in Paris, Germany and Poland will step out in the knowledge that three more points would all but ensure qualification to the knock-out stages with a game to spare.
A draw would also suit both sides but considering their historical and football rivalries neither team are likely to settle for a point from the outset. Poland will miss their first-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny due to injury.
