London:
Newcastle kept a clean sheet for the first time in the Premier League this season with a 1-0 victory over Norwich at St James' Park Sunday.
The result also spoiled Norwich manager Chris Hughton's return to Newcastle for the first time since he was fired by the Magpies in 2010.
Demba Ba scored the winner, his third goal in two games, when he turned Hatem Ben Arfa's pass into the center of the goal from close range in the 19th minute.
Norwich striker Steve Morison gave away a penalty late in the first half with a poor tackle on Mike Williamson but Papiss Cisse missed the resultant spot kick.
Norwich pressed for an equalizer in the second half but failed to find the net and remains winless this campaign.
