WICKET! This is a superb review from RR. Heinrich Klaasen tries to play a reverse sweep off the bowling of Yash Raj Punja and misses it completely. The ball hits him on the pad, but the umpire gives it not out. Punja convinces his skipper to take it upstairs, and it turns out to be a good decision. Ball-tracking suggests it would have hit the off stump.

Five runs come off the final over of Sakib Hussain, and that keeps Rajasthan Royals below 250. At one point, RR seemed to be comfortably crossing the mark, but a couple of tight overs help SRH make a mini comeback. They concede just 10 runs in the last two overs.

This turns out to be a really good over from Eshan Malinga. The pacer concedes only six runs while picking up a wicket as well. Rajasthan Royals have three overs left in the innings. They could easily cross 250.

Dasun Shanaka is GONE! Rajasthan Royals are five down. It is a back-of-a-length delivery from Eshan Malinga, and Shanaka miscues his pull shot. The ball hits the upper half of his bat and carries to the fielder wide of long-on.

Yashasvi Jaiswal starts the Eshan Malinga over with a four through sweeper cover before Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also smashes a four through the same region. 11 come off the over. At this stage, even this feels like an economical over.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi slams his fifty in just 16 balls! He also breaks Chris Gayle's record for smashing the most sixes in a single IPL edition. The 15-year-old wonderkid has hit 61 maximums so far, surpassing Gayle's previous record of 59.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had finished the first over with a six and does the same thing again here! Eshan Malinga pitched a short ball, and the teenager pulled it away over backward square leg. Eleven come off the over.

This is a solid shot from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for a six. Pat Cummins pitches it up, and the 15-year-old takes the offering. He smashes it down the ground for a six over long-off. Nine come off the first over.

Pat Cummins gets ready with the new ball. He bowls a fuller delivery, and Yashasvi Jaiswal drives it down. The ball hits the stumps at the other end. No run comes off that.

"Yeah, again, a little undecided, but we would have liked to bowl first as well. Having looked at the history here, I think two games this season—both were chased—but a good time to change that," said RR captain Riyan Parag.

"I'm fit to play," said the skipper while talking about his fitness.

Highlighting the changes, Parag said, "Pretty much the same team, just Jaddu comes into the XI and Dubey is the Impact Sub."

"We are going to have a bowl first. I think the most important thing is you are coming off having played really good cricket, which our guys are doing," said SRH captain Pat Cummins after winning the toss.

Talking about his bowlers, he said, "We like to keep it pretty simple. There might be one or two guys or moments where we feel like we need to have a good plan for, but outside of that, we just want to lean into guys' strengths."

Rajasthan Royals would bank on leading wicket taker Jofra Archer (21 wickets) to come up with another match-wining spell in the powerplay tonight, like he did in the must win clash against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede, making the ball talk with both conventional and cross seam.

Notwithstanding the destructive abilities of both the top orders, RR's Yashasvi Jaiswal and SRH's Travis Head have not been as consistent as they would have liked. The Eliminator presents them the ideal opportunity for a game-changing effort for their respective teams.

Hardik Pandya has deactivated his Instagram account. This drastic move comes just days after Mumbai Indians' disastrous IPL 2026 campaign came to an end with a final league loss to RR, and amid a growing chorus of speculation surrounding his uncertain future with the franchise.

Despite missing the first half of the season, SRH captain Pat Cummins has adapted well to the conditions. He has a death-overs economy of just 5.66, the best among any bowler with more than two overs in this phase. He has also picked up eight wickets in seven matches.

Pitch no. 4 will be used for the Eliminator. It's been a high-scoring deck so far this season, with the chasing teams winning all three matches played here. RR will have good memories playing on this track, having previously chased down 223 against Punjab Kings.

Ishan Kishan is just 40 runs away from reaching the 6,000-run milestone in T20 cricket in India. The Mumbai Indians star is also 77 runs away from completing 1,000 runs for his franchise in the IPL. Kishan has been in sublime form this season, amassing 569 runs in 14 matches, including six half-centuries.

Rajasthan Royals' top order comprising the sensational Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (583 runs), Yashasvi Jaiswal (397) and Dhruv Jurel (458) has expectedly scored the bulk of the runs for the team.

Same is the case with Sunrisers Hyderabad's trio of Abhishek Sharma (563 runs), Travis Head (393) and Ishan Kishan (569). A special mention is a must for Henrich Klaasen (606) at number four as he is in the middle of his best IPL season.

By their own admission, Rajasthan Royals should have qualified much earlier than the last day of the league stage but now that they are there, the Riyan Parag-led unit would be chomping at the bit to put one past Sunrisers Hyderabad and progress deeper into the tournament.

The winner of the contest tonight will face Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2026 for a place in the final.
