Shubman Gill is caught on the crease and has to awkwardly fend it away, leaving his hands past his hips. The ball goes past the bat and is gobbled up by Kyle Verreynne behind the stumps. Half an appeal for caught behind but the umpire says no! A lot of discussion between the skipper and his players and eventually, Temba Bavuma does review it. 31 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Beauty of a delivery to get rid of Virat Kohli. It's a body blow to India and South Africa are right on top in this Test match after removing the cream of India's batting. Coming to the delivery, it's on a length and close to off at 137 kph. The angle is taking the ball closer to the batter and Kohli gets forward to play that line. But to his surprise, it lands and then nips away slightly with an extra bounce to catch the outside edge. Kyle Verreynne takes a simple catch, they appeal and the finger goes up. Virat departs dejected and India are in a huge spot of bother.  107/5

27 OUT! STUMPS SHATTERED! Kagiso Rabada gets his second wicket and South Africa are off to a perfect start in the afternoon. The Protea speedster sticks to a good line, around off, and serves it on a good length. Shreyas Iyer sticks on the back foot, perhaps looking to defend, but the ball nips in a bit along with staying a touch low and goes through his defense. A bit unlucky for the batter but he has to depart after playing a decent role in India's recovery in the first session. India need to rebuild again after that 68-run stand comes to an end!  92/4

67.4 OUT! TIMBER! RIGHT THROUGH HIS DEFENCE! Nandre Burger finishes things up as he cleans up KL Rahul and India have been bundled out for 245 runs. Burger steams in from around the stumps and serves it on a fullish length, angling it in from the off stump. Rahul looks to flick but leaves a huge gap between bat and pad and the ball just beats the inside edge to crash into the stumps. End of a fine, fine inning from Rahul.  245/10

35 OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Kagiso Rabada with his fourth wicket and what a stellar spell he is having. Rabada bowls this one a touch short at 133 clicks around off, angling it in and the ball bounces a shade extra. Ravichandran Ashwin looks to block off the front foot but the extra bounce means the ball takes the shoulder of the bat and flies away toward third slip where the substitute fielder, Wiaan Mulder times his jump well and grabs it with both hands. The replays show that it flew off the gloves. South Africa are firmly in control now. Kagiso Rabada is a bit like Stuart Broad, at times he will look very ordinary but once he gets into his groove, and finds his rhythm, he has the potential to run through any batting order in a jiffy.  121/6

Smart bowling from KG here as he knows Shardul Thakur will look to play a few shots now that he has been hit on the body a few times and pitches this one up around the off stump. Thakur is drawn into the drive and looks to go over extra cover but doesn't find the elevation. The ball goes sharply and just over the head of Dean Elgar at short extra cover where he takes it nicely with both hands. 65.1 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Hang on, there's a review! Gerald Coetzee pitches this one up on a nagging length on off and middle, getting it to shape away beautifully. Mohammed Siraj tries to cover the line as he takes half a step across the stumps but the ball finds the faint outside edge through to the keeper. Kyle Verreynne makes no mistake and UltraEdge confirms the edge as well. A gritty stay at the crease ends for Siraj and South Africa have their nineth wicket.  238/9

A very probing over from Siraj and at the end of it all, he picks up a wicket as well. Pitches this one up on a nagging length on off, angling it in and then getting it to straighten nicely off the deck. Aiden Markram is forced to play at it again and the outside edge is found. It is very faint but KL Rahul gobbles it up and the Indians are delighted.  11/1

94.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Oh, no! Dean Elgar has missed out what would have been his maiden double ton and he is disappointed. He has reviewed it but he doesn't look sure about it. This is banged in short again by Shardul Thakur just down the leg side. Elgar looks to get inside the line but gets himself in an awkward position looking to fend it away. The ball takes the glove and goes through to KL Rahul who pouches it safely and the finger goes up in a flash. UltraEdge confirms the spike and Thakur has finally broken this stand. Elgar though walks back after an astonishing inning and gets a standing ovation from the crowd as well.  360/6

29 OUT! CAUGHT! Jasprit Bumrah provides a much needed breakthrough for India and he is pumped up. Keeps coming from around the stumps and serves this one on a hard length around the off stump. Tony de Zorzi gets squared up as he tries to block it with soft hands off the back foot but the ball nips away off the deck catching the outside edge of the bat. The ball goes quickly to Yashasvi Jaiswal at third slip and he just about manages to hang on to the catch with both hands. A very promising start from de Zorzi but he has now to depart.  104/2

30.2 OUT! CHOPPED ON! When it rains, it pours and Jasprit Bumrah has two wickets in the space of two overs. A fraction shorter and on the fifth stump line, Keegan Petersen with no foot movement at all and looks to hammer it away off the back foot, ends up playing away from the body and gets a big inside edge. The ball goes back on to crash into the stumps and India have their third wicket.  113/3

60.1 OUT! BOWLED'EM! India certainly upped the ante in tha last 2-3 overs and now Mohammed Siraj bears fruit of that aggression. After the short stuff in the last few overs, Siraj steams in and serves it full on middle stump, getting it to swing back in late. David Bedingham looks to drive it straight but gets beaten on the inside edge and the ball beats bat and pad to castle into the stumps and Siraj brings out the familiar celebration. Bedingham departs after a fine fifty on debut and South Africa trail by just 1 run with 6 wickets in hand.  244/4

61.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Doublestrike for India, just as they did in the previous session and South Africa have now lost half their side. Another short ball from Prasidh Krishna, outside off and climbing up after pitching. Kyle Verreynne is tentative to uppercut it off the back foot and seems to have edged it through to the keeper. The Indian players go up but the umpire remains unmoved. The review is taken and UltraEdge shows a clear spike as the ball went past the shoulder of the bat and the decision is overturned. Ashwin flights this one up nicely, full and outside off, inviting the big shot. Coetzee goes after it and looks to swing through the line but ends up chipping it to a deepish mid off where Mohammed Siraj grabs a simple catch. South Africa are now 7 down with the lead being 146 runs.  391/7

100.5 OUT! TIMBER! The change of angle from Jasprit Bumrah and he serves a brute of a delivery to get rid of Kagiso Rabada. Comes from around the wicket and serves it on a tad fuller length on off and middle, lovely wrists from Bumrah as well as he gets this one to nip away sharply off the deck. Kagiso Rabada looks to block but the ball ziops past the outside edge and hits the top of off stump, knocking the stumps over as well. South Africa are now 8 down in a jiffy.  392/8

108.4 OUT! BOWLED! That is Jasprit Bumrah's special yorker and through the gates! Bumrah steams in from around the stumps and nails the yorker on off stump. angling it in with good pace behind it as well. That's too good a ball for a tailender and Nandre Burger tries his best to dig it out but the ball sneaks under the bat to castle into the stumps. Bumrah gets his fourth wicket in the inning.  408/9

5.3 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Brilliant from Nandre Burger and he picks off Yashasvi Jaiswal yet again and India are in early trouble here. Burger bangs it in a bit on a tighter line around off stump, angling it in. Jaiswal watches it well and looks to shoulder arms but the steep bounce means he cannot get those gloves high enough. The ball just kisses the under-glove and goes through to Kyle Verreynne who makes no error. Jaiswal departs for a low score on his birthday and India still trail by 150 runs.  13/2

2.5 OUT! TIMBER! Kagiso Rabada with a special delivery and he keeps tormenting Rohit Sharma. Rabada steams in and pitches it up on middle stump with the angle into the right-hander. The ball pitches and nips away sharply as Sharma plays completely down the wrong line and is beaten past the outside edge. The ball knocks over the off stump and Rabada sends Sharma packing for a duck and for a seventh time in 11 innings as well. Perfect start for South Africa here.  5/1

14 OUT! CLEANS HIM UP! Marco Jansen has the last laugh here and sends Shubman Gill packing. Jansen strolls in from around the wicket yet again and just bowls it very full on middle. The ball angles in and Gill ends up playing all around it. The ball just sneaks under the willow and crashes into the stumps and Gill is left disappointed. A poor shot and India lose their third wicket.  52/3

34.1 OUT! TAKEN! Wow, what a catch to end it all and fittingly it is Kagiso Rabada who takes it. Marco Jansen comes in from around the stumps and digs it in short over the stumps. Virat Kohli dances down the track and flat-bats it up and over the bowler's head without great timing. KG races across to his left from long on and takes a fine tumbling catch on the run with both hands. Jansen ends with a third wicket and the Proteas are absolutely pumped up. Iyer looks to get on the front foot and flick it away but the ball takes a bit of an inside edge, goes onto the pads and then into the stumps. The bails fall off and Iyer might consider himself a bit unlucky but he did play all around it and Jansen has two to his name.  72/4

25.5 OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Nandre Burger comes back into the attack and picks up a massive wicket for South Africa. Burger goes wider on the crease and angles in a fuller delivery close to the off stump. KL Rahul is forced to play at it but Burger gets a hint of reverse on that one and Rahul gets a thick outside edge. The ball goes quickly around chest height to Aiden Markram at second slip and this time he makes no mistake. India have lost half their side now and they still trail by 67 runs.  96/5

26 OUT! CAUGHT AGAIN! Two in two for Nandre Burger and he is lighting it up in his debut Test match. Burger keeps coming from around the stumps and serves it on a shortish length outside off stump. Ravichandran Ashwin goes on the back foot and looks to be positive with a back-foot punch but only gets an outside edge on that one. The ball flies quickly to the right of gully where the other debutant for South Africa, David Bedingham takes a sharp catch around his chest. Ashwin goes for a golden duck and India in a heap of trouble now.  96/6

28.3 OUT! CAUGHT! Kagiso Rabada now gets his second wicket and Shardul Thakur is a goner! KG serves this one on a hard length over off stump and gets the ball to shoot off the deck. Thakur is caught on the crease and looks to defend off the back foot with hard hands but the ball takes the shoulder of the bat and pops up wide of gully. David Bedingham there slides to his right and completes a simple catch. India are still 58 runs behind and South Africa are just 3 wickets away from victory.  105/7

30.2 OUT! RUN OUT! Another one bites the dust for India and that one was a bit unnecessary. Kagiso Rabada bowls this one on a good length on off stump, Kohli gets on the front foot and punches it through the big gap at covers. After a second or so, Kohli calls for the run as he thinks there's a possibility of two. Dean Elgar is the one who chases it down and is quick to get to the ball. Kohli is quick to get back for the second run but Jasprit Bumrah is s.truggling and he should have sent Kohli back. The throw at the bowler's end is a bit wide but KG does well to collect the ball and dsilodge the bails. Bumrah isn't even in the picture and he isn't happy either.  113/8

A nasty delivery this from Nandre Burger as he bangs a short bumper over off and this one angles in sharply staying a touch low as well. Mohammed Siraj looks to duck but is taken aback and the ball hits the helmet before Kyle Verreynne gobbles it up behind the stumps. There is a half-hearted appeal for caught behind and it seemed like the ball just grazed the helmet of Mohammed Siraj who is down on the deck. South Africa do take the review and why not with just two wickets remaining. The physio comes out but UltraEdge shows that the ball went off the right thumb before it took the helmet and Burger has his fourth wicket.  121/9
