Oh, there was a really good opportunity for Delhi Capitals! It went begging as Ashutosh Sharma failed to get a direct hit at the striker's end. Jadeja played the ball to backward point, who failed to collect it. As the ball got deflected off the fielder's hands, Jadeja tried to take a single. He ran more than halfway down the pitch before realising that Riyan Parag was not taking the run. A returning Jadeja would have been out by miles had there been a direct hit.

WICKET for Axar Patel! That is a big breakthrough for Delhi Capitals! The 102-run partnership has been broken. Axar has dismissed Dhruv Jurel. The right-handed batter got onto the back foot and tried to smash the delivery for a six but found the long-on fielder.

No boundary came off the second over from Kuldeep Yadav. He bowled tight lines and kept both Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel in check. Only six runs came off the over. This is a really good batting wicket, and RR should aim to keep their scoring rate over 10.

Riyan Parag, who had failed to leave an impact so far in the ongoing season, is playing a sensational knock tonight. The right-handed batter smashed Axar Patel for two sixes at the start of this over. He has moved to 45 off 27 balls.

Rajasthan Royals have made a good recovery after losing two early wickets. The duo of Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel have added 59 runs off 37 balls. This has been a really good counter-attack from the pair.

Riyan Parag slammed Kyle Jamieson for two sixes and a four at the start of the over. He smashed a maximum over deep mid-wicket and then got a thick outside edge that flew away for a four through the third man region. Parag followed it up with a stunning inside-out six over extra cover. Twenty came off the over.

Riyan Parag tried to play a reverse sweep but missed the ball and got hit on the front pad. The umpire was unconvinced by the LBW appeal, and his decision turned out to be right. Axar Patel reviewed it, only to find out that the ball was missing the leg stump.

Mitchell Starc bowled a nine-run over, while Kyle Jamieson followed it up with an eight-run over. Rajasthan Royals are truly under pressure. They need a solid partnership from the duo of Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel to make a comeback in the game.

This was not a wicket-taking delivery, but maybe Yashasvi Jaiswal was outplayed by the pace of it. Mitchell Starc bowled a fiery full toss, and Jaiswal got it off the sticker of his bat. The ball popped up in front of the bowler, who took the catch comfortably. RR are one down.

Delhi Capitals' biggest concern has been their inconsistent batting. While the likes of KL Rahul, David Miller, Tristan Stubbs and Sameer Rizvi have all contributed in patches, the unit has failed to click collectively. In the last match, Abhishek Porel's knock as an Impact Player was one of the few positives, helping the team avoid a record-low total and the team management will be tempted to give him a go in the playing XI.

Rajasthan Royals have a strong batting line-up. Their top order has been aggressive, with fearless Vaibhav Sooryavanshi taking on world class bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins from the outset and Yashasvi Jaiswal showing good touch.

Another positive for Rajasthan is the middle order finding form after a slow start. That gives them more balance and makes them harder to contain across the innings.

There is some good news on the bowling front for Delhi Capitals. Pace ace Mitchell Starc is set to return after getting clearance from Cricket Australia to play from May 1. With Lungi Ngidi still unavailable, Starc's inclusion comes as a timely boost. He is likely to replace either Kyle Jamieson or Dushmantha Chameera.

With three wins and four losses, Delhi Capitals are seventh on the points table and need a turnaround soon. Having lost three consecutive matches, the side will be eager to get back on track and boost their playoff hopes.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is only one maximum away from becoming the fastest batter in world cricket to register 100 T20 sixes. He has 99 T20 sixes to his name in 511 balls (27 innings). The record for the fastest to 100 T20 sixes is currently held by Kieron Pollard (843 balls).

Delhi Capitals have had little time to dwell on what has been a bruising stretch of results as they gear up to face a confident Rajasthan Royals tonight.
