Hyderabad:

Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth have been doing what the Indians promised they would before the series began, they are fighting fire with fire, and going all out on the field in Aussie style aggression. But Ricky Ponting is least impressed.

"There has not been too much difference in the aggression showed by both teams in the last couple of games. More may be from the Indian side and less from Australia," said Ricky Ponting, captain, Australian cricket team.

"I think that is to be expected because they were saying they will take us on and will fight fire with fire. But it has not surprised or worried us because that is not the way they usually play their cricket. So they are trying to put up a brave front and brave face. We have played some great cricket. I am looking forward to playing some better cricket," he added.

While Harbhajan Singh has accused the Aussies of being vulgar and obscene and crossing the line on the field, SantaKumaran Sreesanth's embarrassing behaviour has left the Indians on the defensive.

Although neither team was handed out punishment from the ICC the match referee did have a chat with the captains.

"The match referee brought both captains in individually, both me and Adam and Dhoni went first. He made us known there were a few things he wasn't that pleased with. And that it was up to the captains to make sure it didn't continue through the series," Ponting further said.

As far as statistics go India has beaten Australia just two times from 13 completed matches since that lopsided world cup final in 2003.

So really the new found aggression will need to be backed by some very high quality cricket if India want to improve this win loss record.
