New Delhi:
India's poor form in the CB series has left the national team selectors in a quandary for the selection of the team for the Asia Cup.
Reports suggest Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar will not be a part of the squad that will be announced on Wednesday, 29 February.
Sehwag not only had a poor Test series and a ODI series that has fetched him only 35 runs in four games but also had a public spat with captain MS Dhoni that led to speculations of a rift in the team.
Reports indicate that the Indian vice-captain will be dropped from the team for the Asia Cup while Tendulkar will be rested.
As per reports selectors are planning to give Tendulkar a rest so that he can take his mind off his 100th hundred.
