There's still no decision or announcement on Shoiab Akhtar's medical report. The Pakistani fast bowler met the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar Khan this morning. The meeting lasted 45 minutes. Khan later said that the only purpose of the meeting was to give Shoiab a background of just why a medical commission had been instituted. Furthermore, the Rawalpindi Express was also assured that he would be given a fair hearing. Shoaib has been under the scanner since allegations that he faked injury during the third test against India at Rawalpindi. A leaked report of his scan confirmed that he was indeed injured though the Pakistan Cricket Board is yet to confirm it.
