Morgan meets Chandra to discuss ICL
ICC President David Morgan met ICL owner Subhash Chandra in London to discuss the rebel Twenty20 venture's demand for recognition.

ICC President David Morgan met Indian Cricket League's (ICL) owner Subhash Chandra in London to discuss the rebel Twenty20 venture's demand for recognition.
The meeting was held on Tuesday and Morgan will now report the discussion to the ICC Board, which meets here on October 14 and 15.
"The ICL had written to the ICC requesting a meeting and today that meeting took place," Morgan said in a statement.
"I will now report back the contents of the meeting to the ICC Board, which is gathering in Dubai on 14 and 15 October," he added.
Refusing to divulge any details, the ICC described the meeting as "cordial" and said, "Mr Chandra thanked Mr Morgan and the other members of his group (David Becker, ICC Head of Legal, and Jonathan Taylor of the international law firm of Bird and Bird) for attending."
"Mr Chandra added his hope that when Mr Morgan presented to the ICC Board it could find a resolution to the matter," the ICC statement read.
The ICL has been demanding recognition from the ICC for quite some while.
The league was declared a rebel venture by the BCCI which not only banned the Indian players joining the ICL but also convinced its international counterparts to do the same.
