Michael Vaughan Appointed Player-Coach For Capricorn Commanders in Masters Champions League
Michael Vaughan has been appointed as player-cum-head coach of the Capricorn Commanders in the Twenty20 Masters Champions League.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has been roped in as player-cum-head coach of Capricorn Commanders, one of the teams that will compete in the T20 Cricket Masters Champions League. (Virender Sehwag To Square Off Against Sourav Gamguly in Masters Champions League)
Vaughan was picked by the Commanders in the pre-auction bid for the legends and was part of the strategy unit for actor Sohail Khan co-owned team during the auction purchases as well. Vaughan will be joined by Usman Afzaal, former England international, as assistant coach for the tournament which will take place from January 28 to February 13 at the Dubai and Sharjah Cricket Stadiums.
The Capricorn Commanders will compete with five other teams in the tournament billed as the League of the Extraordinary, as competing squads have on their roster some of the sports' most celebrated superstars.
Capricorn Commanders also boasts of two-time World Cup winner Andrew Symonds, Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, former England skipper Paul Collingwood, Sri Lanka's Chamara Silva and South Africa's Ashwell Prince among others.
