He stretches to maximum and manages to take a very good catch. A big and much-needed wicket for Bangalore. A debut that started off poorly for Lynn ends in a very good knock. 11 OUT! CAUGHT! Jamieson gets his first wicket in the league! The New Zealander has so far been the best bowler for Bangalore and he now has a wicket to show for it. Good comeback from the tall Kiwi. After being hit for a six he has come back very strongly to win the war against Suryakumar Yadav. Jamieson hits the deck hard and bowls it back of a length outside off. Suryakumar Yadav looks to slash it through the off side but Jamieson generates extra bounce due to his height. Tha bounce sees the ball catch the edge and go straight into the mitts of AB de Villiers. End of a very impressive knock from Suryakumar Yadav. He though would have liked to convert it into a big one. 94/2

There is an appeal for LBW but the umpire says no. Harshal Patel is convinced that he has got his man and convinces Kohli to take the review. Bangalore would be happy to see the back of Pandya as he can be very dangerous in the latter half of the innings. Shortish ball around off, Sundar looks to pull but the ball comes quicker to him. 12.3 OUT! LBW! Rohit Sharma brings back Jasprit Bumrah in order to bring a wicket and he provides it in the form of Kohli. He loves playing against the Bangalore skipper and he gets him again. Good length ball on middle, Kohli shuffles across and then looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads. Bumrah appeals and up goes the finger. Kohli consults with Maxwell whether to take the review but decides against it. Can Mumbai make a comeback in this game? 98/3

He continues his habit of picking up wickets in the first 6 overs of a T20 game.  Rajat Patidar, looked promising in his short stay at the crease but unfortunately, it is a short stay. Knuckle ball bowled on a length outside off. Patidar looks to defend it with a horizontal bat to the off side. It is too close to him and there is a lack of pace as well. The ball takes the inside edge to uproot the off stump. Mumbai are not out of this game at all. They have a knack for stealing wins from the jaws of defeat and Bangalore have the bad habit of throwing away games. 46/2

14.1 OUT! CAUGHT AT SHORT FINE LEG! Maxwell goes and Mumbai are back in it big time! They got Kohli couple of overs back and now have got Maxwell. Marco Jansen gets his first wicket in the Indian T20 League. Short ball around the pads, Maxwell swivels and looks to pull but does not get the timing on it. Ishan Kishan takes a brilliant take and quickly disturbs the stumps. AB de Viliiers calls for a run. Jamieson keeps his head down and goes for it. Bumrah quickly gets to the ball and scores an underarm direct hit at the stumps. Was this single needed? This is the last ball off the over. Maybe de Villiers was better staying at the other end and taking on the final over. This game is still in the balance.
