Born in the state of Haryana in India, Shahbaz Ahmed is an all-rounder trying to make his mark in the Indian domestic circuit. Shahbaz Ahmed represents the Bengal team in the FC cricket and has made headway with some consistent performances on the domestic front. A left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler, he has been an asset for Bengal.
Possessing a batting average of over 30 in all formats while also being economical with the ball in his hand, Ahmed has been a regular feature in his domestic team. Ahmed made his List A debut for Bengal against Jammu and Kashmir in the 2018/19 Vijay Hazare Trophy in September 2018. His First-Class debut followed soon when he played against Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy in December 2018. His T20 debut came in February 2019 when he made his bow against Haryana.
Ahmed has had a rapid rise as just about a year later after making his domestic debut, he was named in India A's squad for the 2019/20 Deodhar Trophy. Shahbaz was also bought by the Bangalore-based franchise in the 2020 Indian T20 League auction. It remains to be seen how his career shapes up.
