The BCCI top brass on Monday held a meeting with officials of sports management company IMG at the board s headquarters in Mumbai. The meeting went on for over two hours and eventually it was decided that IMG will continue to be associated with the Indian Premier League.

IMG, which conducted the first three seasons of the highly successful Indian Premier League, sent its senior vice president Andrew Wildblood and two other representatives to meet the top officials of the BCCI, including president Shashank Manohar.

Wildblood and his colleagues Paul Manning and John Loffhagen met Manohar, secretary N Srinivasan, vice-president Rajiv Shukla, interim IPL chairman Chirayu Amin and vice-chairman Niranjan Shah among others, for two hours.

"We had a friendly and constructive meeting with the BCCI. We are hoping to have good relations with the BCCI," Wildblood told waiting reporters before leaving along with his other two IMG colleagues.

Also on the agenda were negotiations regarding the money that would be paid to IMG for organising this year's IPL. NDTV has come to know that BCCI will pay Rs 27 crore to IMG for this years's event.

The Board officials also sought a clarification from the IMG officials on Lalit Modi's plans to start what is being called a parallel IPL-like league in England.

The meeting comes two days after suspended IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi's lawyer filed a 15, 000 page reply to the show-cause notice issued against him by the BCCI. Read:My reply is about defending 'Brand IPL': Modi

On the sidelines of this meeting, BCCI chief Shashank Manohar met the Indian Team Mnager Ranjib Biswal and discussed with him the details of Indian team's performance in the World T20. Read:BCCI is looking into Biswal's report
