Right then! That is it from this match. The third-T20I match will be on16th December at 6 pm Local (1 pm GMT). Do join us for the build up in advance. Till then, goodbye and cheers!
Babar Azam, the skipper of Pakistan, says that he is satisfied with the finish with the bat. Adds that bowling has been also good and adds that overall the team performance was good. He adds that they want to set the target and defend it and wants to give 100 percent every time whatever the conditions. He applauds Mohammad Wasim for his performance and adds that he will improve more as he plays more. Informs that they will try to check the bench strength in the next game.
Nicholas Pooran, the skipper of West Indies, says that it was a tough one but there were improvements from yesterday. Feels like they had this game but still, he is happy with the players. Adds that his bowlers did really well today. Tells that he tried to take the game deep but unfortunately some mistakes cost the game but he credits Romario Shepherd with the way he played. Adds that it is a learning experience for them and he is very proud of his team.
Shadab Khan is the player of the match, says that he has worked on his death batting. He adds that he gets the idea with the fielding set that what bowlers want to do. He mentions that the pitch didn’t turn that much and he wanted to bowl in good areas and just perform for his team.
... The Presentation ...
Dominating performance from Pakistan yet again. How easy it was for them. They kept their composure and didn't do anything unnecessary when West Indies were building the innings. They didn't give away any freebies and waited for their opportunity. The wicket of Pooran and King started tilting things their way. It was then the over from Shaheen Afridi that almost handed them the match as he took three wickets in the over. Romario Shepherd gave some hiccups but he alone was not enough to change the fortunes against the mighty Pakistani attack.
West Indies hanged in there but failed to finish the things. They first lost Hope and Brooks for cheap scores. Then Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran combined to steady the ship and they controlled the middle phase really well. It was looking like the Windies will cruise to victory but Pooran gave away his wicket. The game started slipping from there on and once King fell, wickets started tumbling and the youngsters could not finish things off. Romario Shepherd though kept the hopes alive but he too failed to take his team over the line. Nonetheless a good effort from the young gun.
Pakitan lead by 2-0 and with that they have clinched the T20I series as well. Pakistan are totally a different team in the shortest format of the game and also one of the best teams in the world currently. It takes some effort to beat this Pakistani team.

Haris Rauf To Oshane Thomas OUT!
OUT! BOWLED! Haris Rauf finishes it in style! Haris Rauf bowls a perfect yorker on middle and off. Oshane Thomas looks to push it away but misses. The ball crashes the stumps and Haris Rauf finishes with two wickets. A brilliant last over by Haris Rauf and once again he delivers under the pressure. Pakistan win by 9 runs.
There was a chance for no ball. There were only three fielders inside the circle and someone spotted it right in the end. He saved his team here

Haris Rauf To Romario Shepherd
Game over! A full ball, on off. Romario Shepherd drills it hard towards deep extra-cover but Asif Ali there manages to stop it and just a single for West Indies. So Pakistan just needs a legal delivery now off the last ball.
Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Babar Azam having a chat...11 needed of 2 balls.

Shaheen Afridi To Romario Shepherd OUT!
OUT! RUN OUT! Akeal Hosein sacrifices his wicket for the cause! A full ball, on middle. Romario Shepherd hits this to long off and tries to come back for two. Akeal Hosein running at the bowler's end is short of his crease as Babar Azam fires in a good throw at the bowler's end as Afridi whips the bails off. So a single taken but more importantly, Romario Shepherd is back on strike.
Run out appeal. Shaheen Afridi is convinced he got his man as he puts up an appeal for run out. The on-field umpire takes his time before taking it upstairs. It actually looks like Akeal Hosein is short by a margin. good work from Afridi here.
